Re: update driver for windows on imac 2011 tomtalk24 dec 7, 2015 10:19 am ( in response to zloydeman ) amd only supply the chip, apple make the reference card for their devices along with the locked bios.. I have an 27' imac 2011, which according to apple is not supported for windows 10 install. i just walked through the steps of bootcamp 6.0.1, downloaded the bootcamp support files, created the windows partition in bootcamp, inserted a dvd of the w10 x64 iso that i downloaded from ms and followed the procedures.. No sound windows 10 on mac no bootcamp so im really new to windows (switched 2 days ago) and i got windows installed on my imac (2011 model if i'm correct) when i start the computer, i first get the regular mac startup sound, than it switches to windows and there is no sound anymore..
